2010 Capability Build Travel and Event Fund opens

The 2010 Capability Build Travel and Event Fund is open for applications from core KAREN Members (universities and Crown research institutes). The purpose of this fund is to support travel and events that demonstrate the value of collaboration on KAREN and networking technologies, and the applications and services for which they are used.

Travel applications can be made to help fund attendance at national and international eResearch events that support eResearch and KAREN capability building. Event applications can be made that help fund the visiting of international experts and costs for Member-led events that promote eResearch and KAREN usage within and across KAREN members.

The KAREN Capability Build Fund is provided by the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology.
